WHAT IS THE MEDICAID MEAL WAIVER?
The Medicaid waiver, sometimes called the Community Choice Waiver, authorizes states to supply services such as home-delivered meals. Medicaid Waivers help provide services to people who would otherwise be in a nursing home or hospital to receive long-term care in the community. If you do not have a Meal Waiver and would like to apply for one, contact Waiver Services at 1-855-296-0226
Do I Qualify for Home Delivered Meals?
- Are you 65 or older?
- Do you have a disability?
- Do you require assistance with preparing meals?
- Do you have a Health Insurance Plan that offers a paid meal benefit?
If you answered “Yes” to any of these, you may qualify for government or health plan assistance with Healthy Soul Kitchen!
